FAQs Volunteer Co-Ordinator

The Volunteer Co-Ordinator, Jane, is always ready to answer any questions you may have regarding volunteering  with the Reiki Association WA. Below are some answers to questions that regularly crop up.

The Volunteer Induction Program (VIP) is an annual requirement for all members who wish to volunteer with the Reiki Association (WA) (RAWA). It is mandatory to complete the VIP before volunteering at any RAWA event.
The program serves to:
  • Ensure that all volunteers represent RAWA in the same professional way and with the same high standard, promoting consistency in practice and ongoing training.
  • Allow RAWA to work with organizations such as Solaris Care and MND WA, giving these organizations confidence in RAWA's professionalism.
  • Embed up-to-date health and safety practices, as guided by the WA Department of Health.
  • Provide coverage under the Association’s Public Liability Insurance when volunteering.
The next VIP training sessions currently scheduled are:
  • Saturday 27th June
  • Saturday 30th August (Bunbury)
The date of your last VIP training is located in your profile in the Membership Portal.
